In 1983 in Wichita KS, I was 14 years old when I met Martin Priest. We became friends, as he would give me rides home at 2 AM in the morning from a Kwik Shop that I hung out at all night. I took many rides in his black tow truck at 2 or 3 in the morning, as it became a bit routine for me to even wait on him to show up so that I could get a ride from him. He knew this, and would make it a point to show up, talk to us at the store, sometimes play me a video game or two. He was comfortable with me, and he would vent sometimes about things that bothered him... One night on a ride home, he was telling me about a girl that I assumed was his ex. He was bothered by the fact that she had seen a guy, and he told me that it bothered him that females would have casual sex without being in a relationship... I only learned of all of this because I was on the news in a segment about school supply's in 1985 that I taped on vhs. After my story, they had a Martin Priest trial story taped on there that I didn't notice for a while! So there we were, on the news, back to back, knew eachother! One of history's unsung coincidence stories !
